Meet Your Attorney,

About Dalton Renfro

I am a dedicated Texas real estate attorney with a focused practice in condemnation and eminent domain matters, and a proud graduate of South Texas College of Law. My legal background has equipped me with the knowledge, skill, and determination necessary to advocate for property owners whose land or property rights are threatened or taken for public or private projects.

In condemnation and eminent domain cases, I represent individuals, families, and property owners facing the forced acquisition of their property by government entities or authorized private companies. I understand that a taking—whether for highways, pipelines, utilities, or development projects—can have significant financial and personal consequences. My goal is to ensure that my clients’ rights are protected and that they receive full and fair compensation under Texas law.

I work closely with my clients to evaluate the true value of their property, challenge inadequate offers, and navigate the legal process from the initial notice of taking through negotiations, special commissioner hearings, and litigation when necessary. I am committed to standing up to condemning authorities and advocating for outcomes that reflect the real impact a taking has on my clients’ property, livelihood, and future.

My broader real estate experience allows me to approach condemnation matters with a practical understanding of property ownership, transactions, and land use issues. This perspective helps me identify legal and financial issues that may otherwise be overlooked and to pursue strategies tailored to each client’s unique situation.

I am driven by a commitment to protecting private property rights and guiding my clients through complex and often stressful legal proceedings with clarity, diligence, and care. Thank you for visiting my page, and I welcome the opportunity to assist you with your condemnation or eminent domain matter in Texas.
